Happy Superbowl Sunday
Happy Superbowl Sunday!
Everyone ready for the big game? I'm thinking I'm going on tour just to see what everyone serving for their favorite Superbowl snacks? Best part of the day I think is all the goodies.
Here's one of my favorite fast and easy recipes:
Spinach Puffs
2 cans of the rolled croissants
(the ones you pop open)
laid out flat out on cookies sheet
1 package of spinach fresh or frozen
1 package Baby Bella mushrooms sliced & rinsed
2 tbs Butter
1/4 lb cooked hot sausage & chopped(if you like)
2 -3 Cloves of Garlic chopped
1 package Italian Blend cheese
salt & pepper to taste
saute' veggies in garlic & butter
then:
Take first pack of rolls and lay flat on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Sprinkle layer of cheese
,( try not to cover the lines where the roll separate.)
then sausage,veggies&,more cheese,
Take second pack of rolls opened and flat make your cover,
trying to line up as best you can the lines from the other roll on bottom.
With fingertip gently connect the lines where rolls separate,
try not to go all the way through keep them connected.Bake in 350' over for 30-35 mins. until golden brown and smells yummy!
Let stand for a few minute to cool then you have pull apart Spinach Puff!
You can use all sorts of thing for the filling, real easy any convenient to serve
Have a Great Day!
